    Greece lose frontcourt depth with injury to Mitoglou

    MANILA (Philippines) - Power forward Konstantinos Mitoglou has suffered an injury that will prevent him from helping Greece in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

    MANILA (Philippines) - Power forward Konstantinos Mitoglou has suffered an injury that will prevent him from helping Greece in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

    Mitoglou has suffered a fracture of the little finger on his left hand, the Hellenic Basketball Federation announced. The injury occurred in a practice session for Greece.

    Greece is set to start the World Cup on August 26 when it plays against Jordan. They will also have to face New Zealand and USA in the Group phase.
