The towering center produced an incredible efficiency rating of 50 after posting a dominant double-double of 34 points and 21 rebounds - as well as 5 blocks - as Iceland pulled off a 107-105 upset over Italy in double OT.
Hlinason is joined by a pair of Georgia teammates as Thaddus McFadden and Giorgi Shermadini combined to lead their side past North Macedonia in a 91-70 victory. McFadden makes another appearance in the lineup after netting 26 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists, while Shermadini contributed 20 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists in Tbilisi.

Meanwhile, Sasu Salin fired in seven triples in a 25-point haul to lead Finland to an impressive 86-76 triumph over the reigning European champions, Slovenia on Friday. The 30-year-old was 9-of-13 from the field overall with Finland moving into a three-way tie at the top of their group.
