    Host cities confirmed for the second window of FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers

    MIAMI (United States) - The FIBA Regional Office in the Americas confirmed the host cities for the next window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers from 24-28 February, 2022.

    MIAMI (United States) - The FIBA Regional Office in the Americas confirmed the host cities for the next window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers from 24-28 February, 2022.

    Due to the travel and health restriction in several countries, Groups A and C will play in a "bubble" format to ensure the health and safety of all participants during the competition. Group A games will be played in the Obras Sanitarias stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Group C games will take place in the Palacio de los Deportes in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

    The regular home-and-away format will be used for both Groups B and D.

    Group B games will be played at the Antonio Azurmendi Coliseum, in Valdivia, Chile, and at the Ginásio Pedrocão in Franca, Brazil. Group D games will be held at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington DC, USA and at the Ciudad Deportiva in Havana, Cuba.
