Victor Liz, Rigoberto Mendoza and Gelvis Solano, who have perfect attendance for the Dominican Republic during the Qualifiers, are present at the preliminary roster and will be a leading voice for the team on both sides of the court.

Ronald Roberts Jr who hasn’t put on the Dominican jersey since the Centrobasket 2014 is also listed at the pool of players.

During the last window of the Qualifiers, the Dominicans will be at home and they will receive the visit of Venezuela on February 21 and Brazil on February 25.
Dominican Republic would secure a direct spot in the World Cup with two wins in Group F but just the lone win against Brazil would suffice if they win the tie-breaker and Brazil lose to Virgin Islands. Alternatively, they could qualify as the best fourth-placed team in the Americas.
