    FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers Draw completed in Bengaluru with assist from legends

    BENGALURU (India) - The FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers Draw was completed at the Shangri-La Hotel Bengaluru this Saturday evening.

    BENGALURU (India) - The FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers Draw was completed at the Shangri-La Hotel Bengaluru this Saturday evening.

    The draw lays out the trail in which the 24 participating nations must go through in order to qualify for the 2021 edition of the FIBA Asia Cup. This is the first Asia Cup Qualifiers Draw ever, leading up to the first-ever Qualifiers for the new format of the Asia Cup.

    Legendary Asian guards Jimmy Alapag of the Philippines and Asami Yoshida of Japan were the star-studded duo that assisted with the procedure of the draw.

    The historic event was graced by the presence of FIBA President Horacio Muratore, FIBA Secretary General Andreas Zagklis, FIBA Asia President Sheikh Saud Ali Al Thani, FIBA Executive Director for Asia Hagop Khajirian, Governor of Bengaluru, and several representatives from the participating nations. They were joined by members of FIBA's Executive Committee and Central Board, as well as by high-ranking officials from the Local Organizing Committee (LOC).
