CHENZHOU (FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2017) - Mono Vampire Thailand won the first overtime game of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2017 at the expense of Sareyyet Ramallaht, 102-100.

American reinforcement Mike Singletary carried the Thai squad with a huge 38-point, 12-rebound, 3-steal output. He won his duel in the paint with Ramallah's own big man Todd O'Brien, who tallied 24 points and 16 boards.

This was a see-saw encounter all throughout, though Ramallah looked like they were in control after entering the fourth period up, 75-69. The Thais, however, mounted a furious rally and capped it with a huge steal in the endgame and the game tying three-pointer from Ratdech Kruatiwa to force overtime, 90-all. Singletary then teamed up with Jason Brickman and Teerawat Chanthachon to lead Mono to their first win of the competition.
