BEIRUT (Lebanon) - The FIBA Asia Cup has a long and lengthy history dating back to 1960. There have been 29 editions of the premier competition of the region and with the 30th edition set to be played later this year, let's take a look and see where each team stands in the rankings of these All-Time categories.
Appearances
There are only 8 national teams that have played in over 20 Asia Cups, led by Korea who have never missed a single edition of the competition. Japan are just behind with 28 appearances, missing only Asia Cup 1963.

Titles won
Every team that plays in this prestigious event competes for the grand prize... the Asia Cup trophy! So far, only five national teams have been able to claim an Asia Cup title multiple times. China leads the pack with a whopping amount of 16 titles followed by the Philippines who have 5.

Medals won
There can only be one winner inn each Asia Cup, but there's also no shame in finishing as one of the top three teams of the competition either. Any team that can make their way through to a spot on the podium and get a medal around their necks at the end of the days all deserve a round of applause.
Korea are once again leaders in this category, as the only team so far to surpass 20 medals won. China, however, are right behind them and should surpass the 20-medal milestone soon.
