The first four reached the top of the FIBA AmeriCup podium twice in their glorious careers but Ayon is the only player to claim two EuroLeague titles (with Real Madrid) while also lifting the FIBA AmeriCup trophy.
Ayon faced the USA at the World Cup in Spain a year after his AmeriCup triumph in 2013
Marcelinho Huertas of Brazil and Lenovo Tenerife is in even more select company.

Still playing at 40 years of age and as potent a passer and scorer as ever, Marcelinho is the only player to ever win the FIBA AmeriCup, which he did with Brazil in 2005 and 2009, and the Basketball Champions League, which he did two seasons ago with Lenovo Tenerife (2021-22), when he was MVP of the Final Four in Bilbao.
