    With 15 seconds remaining and Japan trailing by five, Rui Hachimura played hero, hitting back to back threes to tie up the game with 2.4 seconds remaining.

    However, Tommaso Oxilia played spoiler to Hachimura's heroics, knocking down a buzzer beating baseline fadeaway to give Italy a 57-55 win, as they advance to the quarter finals to face the winner of Korea vs Lithuania.
