REZE (FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018) - France standout and the Minsk-bound Zoe Wadoux can now claim to have something in common with global superstar Candace Parker.
The USA forward and French guard have both lit it up as teenagers when at the prestigious Reze International tournament, which has just celebrated its 30th Birthday.
Long before Parker landed a stack of individual and team honors during her illustrious and still flourishing career, she was showcasing her talent on the Reze stage. Her amazing displays in the competition, during what was her first ever international tournament, were a major stepping stone on her rise to stardom.
And, it is something she still remembers with fondness. Indeed, she sent a message to the organizers and participants of the latest edition - one which witnessed Wadoux lead France to the title over the weekend.
Like Parker, there was plenty to admire from Wadoux after she scooped the best scorer trophy in what will be an ideal confidence boost ahead of the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018 next month.

Finally a chance to discover the 4th #FIBAU17 participant of the tournament. Look out for Sofia Acevedo & Florencia Chagas who carry a big chunk of ARG's hope here and in Minsk. @cabboficial#RoadToFIBAU17 #RBI2018 #FIBAU17 pic.twitter.com/XIsyrKUEi5
The tournament in Reze proved to be essential preparation not only for the reigning European champions, but also the likes of Belarus, China and Argentina who are also ready to step out at the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018.
