China v Australia
...
Two teams with high expectations coming into the U17 Worlds will be looking to rebound from losses in this Group C match-up in Utebo. China lost to Finland in their opener and now must worry about possibly finishing last in the group with Canada still to come. Australia gave Canada all they could handle in a high-level battle but the only thing that really matters is that it was a loss. The Aussies want to get that first win.
Dominican Republic v Korea
...
Korea will look to avoid a slip-up to the FIBA Americas side after knocking off France in overtime in their opener. Dominican Republic did not look good in their U17 Worlds start against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Dominicans will really need to step up their game in Siglo XXI to keep Korea from jumping to 2-0 in Group D.
Canada v Finland
...
The winner of this game will take sole possession of first place in Group C as both Canada and Finland enter the contest in Utebo with 1-0 records. Canada survived a battle against Australia while Finland shook off China to win their first U17 Worlds game. The Finns would love a second victory straight away.
France v Bosnia Herzegovina
...
France enter the game in Siglo XXI with a bitter taste in their mouth after having lost to Korea in overtime in their U17 Worlds opener. Another loss in the group will make things more difficult in the knockout stage. Bosnia and Herzegovina raced past the Dominicans in their first ever U17 Worlds game. The Bosnians would cherish knocking off a big European country and jump to 2-0 in Group D.
