Malama Leaupepe – Samoa
One of the top performers of the tournament with an average of 31.3 points per game, 26-year-old Leaupepe led from the front throughout the tournament. From the field, the paint and running the court, she a pillar of strength for the young Samoan team.
Terai Sadler – Cook Islands
Backing up her performance at the FIBA Polynesian Cup 2018, Sadler continued her form to be the top performer and top rebounder of the tournament averaging 15.7 rebounds per game. Her maturity, uncanny reading of the flight of the ball and leadership on court made her the most dangerous forward to come up against.
Malia Nawahine – American Samoa
In her debut FIBA Polynesian Cup appearance, Nawahine starred for her team to finishing the leading performer, points scorer and assists queen. With 4 assists per game, she was a dominant guard for her team at both ends of the floor and will continue to inspire the next generation of American Samoan women.
Maea Lextreyt - Tahiti
In her second FIBA Polynesian Cup appearance, Tahitian veteran, and Captain, Lextreyt was the consistent performer her team needed on and off the court. With an average of 15.3 points and 5.3 rebounds, it was her poise and direction that provided stability for the Tahitians.
Lesila Finau – Tonga
In the debut of the Tongan Women’s Team, Finau was a stand-out performer across the board. The 21-year-old playmaker lifted her team and led the young Tongans on a journey of discovery and improvement across the tournament with an average of 26.8 points per game, 7.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists.
