MUNICH (FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019 Qualifiers) – The penultimate game day of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 Qualifiers could prove make or break for a number of nations.

Here is our guide to what's on the line on Saturday during Game Day 5 (of 6):

    Group A

This could be the most exciting group, since neither Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina nor Montenegro can punch their ticket with wins. Victories would merely improve their chances ahead of the final Game Day 6. It looks more and more like it could be boiling down to a last game clash between Slovakia and Montenegro on Wednesday, November 21.

Can qualify with a win: Nobody

    Already eliminated: Iceland

    Saturday games: Iceland (0-4) v Slovakia (3-1), Bosnia and Herzegovina (2-2) v Montenegro (3-1)

    Group B

It's all eyes on Turkey, since they are the one nation who can secure their place with a victory and they face Poland whose dream has already ended. Turkey will be relying on their experienced core of Isil Alben, Bahar Caglar and Quanitra Hollingsworth to get the job done and navigate their way to next year's showpiece event. Meanwhile led by the in-form Anastasiya Verameyenka, Belarus will be breathing down their necks and hoping for an upset.

Can qualify with a win: Turkey

    Already eliminated: Poland and Estonia

    Saturday games: Poland (1-3) v Turkey (4-0), Estonia (0-4) v Belarus (3-1)

    Group C

There is a big anticipation that Russia will snap up a spot and navigate some tricky waters in Lithuania who have lost several very tight games. But with national pride on the line and revenge uppermost in their minds, Lithuania might be gunning for their opponents – not least because they will still be haunted from the first meeting when they could, and should have won. Will they be able to keep UMMC center Maria Vadeeva quiet, or will she book a place at what would be her third Final Round at the age of just 21-years-old?

Can qualify with a win: Russia

    Already eliminated: Lithuania and Albania

    Saturday games: Lithuania (1-3) v Russia (4-0), Albania (0-4) v Hungary (3-1)

    Group D

Things could get very straightforward if Great Britain get the win they crave and they will rely on probably their contingent of EuroLeague Women and EuroCup Women stars against Greece. Johannah Leedham-Warner, Temi Fagbenle, Karlie Samuelson and Rachael Vanderwal will be expected to shine. But Greece are smart and have huge experience including the recent FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup, while also possessing dangerous players as they showed when beating the Brits last year.

Can qualify with a win: Great Britain (but must be at least by 3 points)

    Already eliminated: Portugal

    Saturday games: Portugal (0-4) v Israel (2-2), Great Britain (3-1) v Greece (3-1)

    Group E

Less than 18 months after appearing at a showpiece Final Round tournament for the first time in their history, Slovenia could make it appearance number two if they finish the job as favorites against Finland. Unbeaten and feeding off super displays from the likes of Teja Oblak, Nika Baric and Shante Evans to name but a few, opportunity knocks – loudly!

Can qualify with a win: Slovenia

    Already eliminated: Finland

    Saturday games: Finland (0-4) v Slovenia (4-0), Romania (1-3) v France (3-1)

    Group F

This group is going very much to script and that means that reigning champions Spain are on course to secure their safe passage to Latvia and Serbia next year. Still flawless and packed with talent-boasting Alba Torrens, Astou Ndour and Marta Xargay, they are surely destined to sweep aside the Dutch and leave Ukraine looking to progress as one of the best runners-up.

Can qualify with a win: Spain

    Already eliminated: Netherlands and Bulgaria

    Saturday games: Bulgaria (0-4) v Ukraine (3-1), Netherlands (1-3) v Spain (4-0)

    Group G

Stefan Svitek has done an incredible job with the Czech team since picking up the reins in the wake of their on-court disaster as hosts last year. With a perfect record, they are just one victory away from qualifying and they should get it against underdogs Switzerland. Alena Hanusova, Katerina Elhotova and Kia Vaughn should all prove too much for the Swiss defense. Meanwhile Belgium are still in with a big shot of progressing and must navigate a possibly tricky derby clash with Germany.

Can qualify with a win: Czech Republic

    Already eliminated: Switzerland

    Saturday games: Switzerland (0-4) v Czech Republic (4-0), Germany (1-3) v Belgium (3-1)

    Group H

This always looked like a so-called 'Group of Death' from the moment it was drawn and so it has proven. It is a must-win game for Croatia  against Italy - that much is known. Meanwhile if Italy and Sweden win, they each move to 4-1, which would put Croatia out of contention at 2-3. In this case Italy and Sweden play for top spot on the final game day. If Croatia so beat Italy, there is still the possibility of a three-way tie between Croatia, Sweden and Italy.

Can qualify with a win: Nobody

    Already eliminated: MKD

    Saturday games: MKD (0-4) v Sweden (3-1), Croatia (2-2) v Italy (3-1)
