History has shown the Group Phase of this famous tournament can be unpredictable and there is a lengthy track record of heavyweights falling early and underdogs biting. Taking place on June 15, 16 and 18, games in Groups A and B are in Tel Aviv, Israel while those in Groups C and D are in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Only nations finishing first in each group will make it directly to the Quarter-Finals, with those finishing in second and third spots moving to the Qualification for the Quarter-Finals stage.
