STRASBOURG (France) - Bosnia and Herzegovina standout Jonquel Jones has raised the rebounding bar at the FIBA Women's EuroBasket after the center set a new record in the category.

Taking into account data which was first available from the 1995 edition onwards, Jones claimed an eye-popping 24 rebounds for her adopted country against France in Wednesday's Quarter-Finals. It was also part of a tremendous double-double against the tournament favorites, with Jones adding 29 points.

That tally surpassed the previous record of 21 rebounds which was shared by three different players.

Jones will now play one last game in the competition as Bosnia and Herzegovina fight for a place at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup Qualifying Tournaments in Valencia on Saturday.
