Montenegro have made a habit of defying the doubters in the past years, but they might find it difficult without their legendary playmaker in the coaching hot-seat, rather than directing traffic on the court.

Montenegro roster for FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019
Snezana Aleksic Milena Jaksic Glory Johnson Milica Jovanovic
Bojana Kovacevic Violeta Lazarevic Irena Matovic Bozica Mujovic
Jovana Pasic Natasa Popovic Jelena Vucetic Dragana Zivkovic

She will take her team into match-ups against Czech Republic, France and Sweden at what will be an impressive fifth successive Final Round appearance.

There will be a significant onus on forward Milica Jovanovic, shooting guard Snezana Aleksic and the naturalized Glory Johnson, who is likely to offer the main scoring threat for her adopted nation.

The team's campaign could hinge on who steps up in the backcourt, with Bozica Mujovic  and Jelena Vucetic expected to carry the load, now that Skerovic has swapped roles.
