ROME (Italy) - Hopes are high that Italy can make a deep run at the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019 after they announced a dynamic looking final roster for the event.
ROME (Italy) - Hopes are high that Italy can make a deep run at the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019 after they announced a dynamic looking final roster for the event.
Head Coach Marco Crespi will be expecting his team to hit the ground running in a Group that on paper at least, offers little to fear. Italy will match-up against Hungary, Slovenia and Turkey.

As usual, there is the one-two offensive punch of Giorgia Sottana and Cecilia Zandalasini to lead the way, while the likes of Elisa Penna and Nicole Romeo have shown nice form during preparation. The latter will make her debut - as will young guns such as Lorela Cubaj and Olbis Futo Andre.

Meanwhile Caterina Dotto will also play at her first ever Final Round and that will be extra special since she will line-up against her twin Francesca, who has already featured at previous editions.
