While they have the daunting task of facing reigning champions Spain in Group A, they will have two winnable games against Ukraine and co-hosts Latvia.
Their main thrust will come from WNBA center Temi Fagbenle who was crowned Polish League MVP for 2018-19 while with CCC Polkowice.

Meanwhile, Johannah Leedham-Warner was typically towering during the qualifiers and led her team in efficiency, scoring, rebounding, assists and steals. The versatile veteran returns after being absent for her nation's previous appearance back in 2015.
Additional WNBA and EuroLeague Women quality comes in the shape of Karlie Samuelson, while there are plenty of 2012 Olympians, such as experienced forward Chantelle Handy and veteran point guard Stef Collins.
