SYDNEY (Australia) - With the Group Phase of the FIBA Women's AsiaBasket 2023 in the books, we're heading into the business of the competition and like other sides, Australia must make some clutch plays.

One of the most interesting aspects of the current Opals side is that there's arguably no standout deal-breaker that you would automatically put at the top of the list to ice a game.

Two years ago, the standout Sami Whitcomb was a more obvious go-to player and while not having someone like this could be viewed as a concern, it could also be seen as a big strength that this Australia side has so many different options.
