Rising star Li Yueru did not hold anything back in this one, dropping 33 points and 11 rebounds on the hapless DPR Koreans, who trailed by 16 after one quarter and could not close the gap no matter their efforts.

Also scoring double-figures for China were Gao Song, who had 14, and the duo of Shi Xiufeng and Huang Sijing, who scored 12 points each. DPR Korea, for their part, drew 20 points from the tournament's top scorer Ro Suk Yong and 11 points from Ri Jong Ok.

China will next face winless Philippines in the Quarter-Finals, while DPR Korea take on top Group B side Australia.
