“This is the continuation of the work that began for the Pan American Games 2019. This preliminary list for the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup contains players that participated in the first training stage, and new players that we have been watching, and will get the opportunity to be a part of this process,” explained Neto.

The Brazilian squad will begin training for the continental championship on August 31 at the Poliesportiva Coronel Wenceslau Malta in Rio de Janeiro.
Brazil will begin the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup on September 22 against Colombia in Group B action. The Brazilians will then face Argentina, Paraguay and the USA to conclude the Group Phase.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the Semi-Finals on September 28. The FIBA Women’s AmeriCup 2019 Final will be played on September 29.
