    San Juan, Puerto Rico to host the Centrobasket U17 Championships

    SAN JUAN (Puerto Rico) – The International Basketball Federation announced San Juan, Puerto Rico, as host city of the Centrobasket U17 Championships 2019.

    SAN JUAN (Puerto Rico) – The International Basketball Federation announced San Juan, Puerto Rico, as host city of the Centrobasket U17 Championships 2019.

    The historic Coliseo Roberto Clemente will serve as backdrop for both events, as the men’s tournament will take place July 24-28 and the women’s event will be held July 7-11.

    The Centrobasket U17 Championship will feature the participation of Bahamas, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

    Bahamas, Barbados, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, and Puerto Rico will participate in the Centrobasket U17 Women’s Championship 2019.

    The top three teams from the Centrobasket U17 Championships will qualify to the FIBA U18 Americas Championships 2020.
