    LIMA (FIBA South American U17 Championship) – Argentina and Chile earned the right to play for the title of the South American U17 Championship, after capturing wins on the Semi-Finals of the regional championship. Ecuador and Colombia will play for Bronze.

    Chile earned a trip to the Final of the South American U17 Championship after a 74-60 win over Ecuador. Shooting for 40% from the field and led by an amazing 20-point and 22-rebound performance from Maxwell Lorca, Chile took control of the scoreboard and headed for the qualification to the Final and the FIBA U18 Americas Championship 2018.

    Argentina qualified to the FIBA U18 Americas Championship and the Final of the South American U17 Championship after a 68-47 win over Colombia. Argentina dominated from the get-go and established a 21-0 second quarter to sentence the game and the qualification. Bolmaro was the top scorer for Argentina with 18 points.

    In the Reclassification Round, Uruguay defeated Venezuela 73-66, and Paraguay defeated Peru 80-38.

    On the last day of the South American U17 Championship:

    7th place game – Venezuela vs. Peru
    5th place game – Uruguay vs. Paraguay
    3rd place game – Ecuador vs Colombia
    Gold-Medal game – Argentina vs. Chile

    The last ticket available to the FIBA U18 Americas Championship 2018 will be awarded to the winner of the Bronze Medal Match.
