HONIARA (Solomon Islands) - New Caledonia are undefeated after two days and four games at the 2023 Pacific Games 3x3 Competition.
Finishing sixth at the 2019 Pacific Games 3x3 Competition in Samoa, the New Caledonians have gone to working leading into their Solomon Islands campaign.
“It’s a very good tournament, it’s very hot, and we have had some very tough games, but we are enjoying playing,” Joan Delanay-Belleville from New Caledonia said.
“We have been working on 3x3 a lot since 2019, we have been playing more 3x3 which has helped.”
Papua New Guinea are second in Pool A behind New Caledonia, while over in Pool B, Guam and Fiji are tied up with three wins each.
