RIO DE JANEIRO (Rio 2016 Olympic Games) - A year after Anna Cruz destroyed Montenegro hearts with a game-winning shot in the Quarter-Finals of EuroBasket Women 2015, the Spanish forward did it again.

This time, however, Cruz not only hit a buzzer-beater that gave Spain a 64-62 over Turkey but also helped her country reach the Olympic Semi-Finals for the very first time.

Although Turkey led by eight with 3:45 left to play, the Spaniards never contemplated returning home early. And so, with the teams tied at 62-62 with 4.3 seconds remaining, Cruz came up with the clutch shot that denied Turkey a place in the Last Four.

Cruz relived the moment after the game, saying: "I got the ball with 4 seconds left to play and waited for the right moment to shoot it. I was lucky that it went in. I love these kinds of shots when they go in. Sometimes the ball goes in, other times it doesn't."

Spain will take on Serbia in Thursday's Semi-Final.
