Nurse was only 19 when she led Canada to the title at last year's FIBA Americas Women's Championship and was named the tournament's MVP in the process.

Rated as one of the top talents in Canada basketball, she made her Olympic debut in Saturday's win over China, scoring 5 points.

Nurse and Canada are in action on Monday, taking on European champions Serbia.
