Vienna impress on Day 1 of Marseille Masters 2023

MARSEILLE (France) - Vienna impressed on Day 1 of the 3x3 World Tour Marseille Masters on June 30, 2023.

The 2022 World Tour runner-ups, started strong on the World Tour comeback in Marseille, finishing on top of their pool with 2 wins over Marseille (23-13) and Warsaw Lotto(21-17). 

Amsterdam HiPro and Antwerp TopDesk also finished undefeated.

THE PLAYER

Worthy de Jong was a highlight reel in Marseille. The Dutch star scored 14 points in Amsterdam's win over Plunge  (including the Maurice Lacroix buzzer-beater in overtime) and continued with 10 against Paris.
