The FIBA Regional Office in the Americas has officially confirmed the South American U18 Championship will be played in Caracas, Venezuela in the Gimnasio Jose Joaquin "Papa" Carrillo from 21st to 26th March, while the South American U18 Women's Championship will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 4th to 9th of April in the historic Estadio Obras Sanitarias.
"This event gives us a wonderful opportunity, as all eyes will be on the FVB, and we are certain that it will be an event at the level of the best international basketball. We work tirelessly to meet expectations and give new joy to the country," Hanthony Coello said.
"At CAB we constantly support women's basketball, and we are proud that FIBA Americas, with Carol Callan and Carlos Alves at the helm, trust us and once again give us the opportunity to organize another international event.
