AMSTERDAM (Netherlands) - The draw is loaded and that means some of the very best players are raring to go as the FIBA 3x3 World Tour returns to Europe with the Amsterdam 2024 on October 12-13.
AMSTERDAM (Netherlands) - The draw is loaded and that means some of the very best players are raring to go as the FIBA 3x3 World Tour returns to Europe with the Amsterdam 2024 on October 12-13.
Let's look at the cream of the crop.
Strahinja Stojacic (Ub Huishan NE)
The battle for the crown will be renewed in Amsterdam when No.1 ranked Strahinja Stojacic faces another fight against worthy - pun intended - challengers.
You just know Stojacic will unleash during this final stretch of the season with Ub's supremacy under serious pressure.
He's going to tap into his absolute bag of tricks - he was just getting warmed up in Wuxi when he delivered a dime so crazy that you have to watch it multiple times.
'Doctor Strange' will be steeling himself knowing he has to confront on day one compatriot Vladimir Trajkovic, who is a gunslinger for dark horse Hangzhou (CHN).

Worthy de Jong (Amsterdam)
We're stepping onto his half-court, where this Dutch hoops legend will have all eyes on him.
The Olympic gold medalist's legacy has grown after his heroics in Paris and he gets to lap up the attention in Amsterdam. De Jong returns to the World Tour for the first time since winning MVP in Ulaanbaatar and the No.2 player on the planet is eying the throne.
It won't be easy with his World Tour return facing an initiation against the lockdown D of Dulguun Enkhbat in Amsterdam's Day One blockbuster against Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL).
While de Jong takes the spotlight, we just have to give a shout out to his gold medal winning teammate Dimeo van der Host who leads emerging Utrecht (NED) and you just know he'll bring out his famous air guitar.

Franck Seguela (Paris)
It's not just a battle between Stojacic and de Jong because French superstar Franck Seguela is on a roll. The Olympic silver medalist has shown no signs of fatigue as he continues to play out of his skin.
The Lausanne Masters MVP will again be eying top honors and will need to bring his A-Game in a loaded draw.
Seguela is suave off the court - it's easy to imagine him a movie star - but he's a beast on the half-court as opponents will find out the hard way in Amsterdam.

Stefan Kojic (Liman)
It's been a tough season for Liman, who have been falling at the quarters on the World Tour.
That's through no fault of Kojic, who continues to cook up a storm with an average of 7.4 ppg - the second highest behind de Jong for those who have played at least 12 games.
If Liman are finally to break their title drought then Kojic is going to even have to reach higher levels.
He'll need to be scorching hot but he won't be the only sharpshooter in Amsterdam with Evaldas Dziaugys quickly becoming an elite marksman for Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU).

Nauris Miezis (Chongming)
Chongming (CHN) are rising quickly and a legit title threat because Nauris Miezis is an OG. He might just be the GOAT in the clutch although Riffa star Thibaut Vervoort aka 'Must See TV' also has claims as he will again show in Amsterdam.
Miezis has had so much success over his career, including Tokyo Olympic gold, but he's desperate for a title at his new team. Don't bet against him.
