LIBREVILLE (AfroBasket Women 2015) - It’s been just over two weeks since Cynthia Mouleka was named the Most Valuable Player of Gabon’s Cup, and she is back in action again.

Mouleka is among Gabon’s 15-player squad set to hold a training camp in Serbia ahead of the upcoming AfroBasket Women 2015.

As well as Mouleka, head coach Servais Essongue called up Geraldine Robert and Tania Angue Ngoua.

The duo not only played pivotal roles in Gabon’s qualification for this year’s African Championship, but they also headlined the All-Tournament team of FIBA Africa Zone 4 Group G’s qualifier in March.

If all goes according to plan, the 31-year-old Mouleka could make her second appearance in Africa elite women’s basketball competition, which will take place in Yaounde, Cameroon, from 24 September to 3 October.

Just like Mouleka did, Gabon also last participated in the competition a decade ago in Abuja, Nigeria.

At the time, the 1.72m forward averaged 3.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while Gabon finished ninth in the ten-team tournament.

This time around, Gabon will begin their continental quest in Group A against hosts Cameroon, Mozambique, South Africa, Uganda and Mali.

Gabon’s training camp squad: Marilyne Aboghe, Bolandrine Anguiba, Foxias Folake, Blevie Meyia Lucchesi, Grace Mbaikoua, Cyrelle Massounga, Cynthia Mouleka, Laurianne Mouele, Macolembe Moussirou, Tania Ngoua, Marie Anne Nto, Audrey Obone, Mathilde Okome, Geraldine Robert and Joyce Tsoungui.
