DEBRECEN (Hungary) - Three-manned Miami (USA) battled their way to a 2-0 record on day 1 of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen 2024 on August 31.
TEAMS
MIAMI (USA)
Different lineup, same results for top-seeded Miami as they finished pool phase on top with a 2-0 record.
They started off with a 22 - 19 victory over Lithuanian side Plunge. James Parrott went off for 12 points in the result as he would be the difference maker.
They took on Utrecht next where they picked up another win, 21 - 12. Dylan Travis called game with a two, bookending a gritty display by the undermanned American side.

They’ll be heading into the knockout phase confident and ready to build on an already impressive world tour season.
PLAYERS
STEFAN KOJIC (LIMAN)
Liman finished day 1 undefeated as well, and Chef Koja was a key part of that.
He caught fire offensively in a huge opener against Vienna. He picked up 13 points in a 22-19 victory against the champs from Almaty.
They took on home side Debrecen next where he pulled the string, being the primary playmaker for the side as he dimes and dishes set Liman apart. They came away with a 21 - 19 victory and if Liman want to earn their first stop win of the season, they’ll need Kojic to keep working his magic.
