    Ahmad is Ibra-HIM

It was a big week of quality performances in the first week of the WASL Subzone Leagues Playoffs. Sagesse's Ahmad Ibrahim, however, might have had the best one yet. Most points scored and highest EFF among all players is just a top-notch performance from the Lebanese stand-out forward.

Sagesse are hoping that he'll keep this up towards a WASL-West Asia title.

    Perfect tournament for the MVP

Speaking of titles, big props to Yuki Togashi who was named the MVP of the East Asia Super League (EASL) Final Four. The floor general rained in 25.0 points per game over the weekend while also dropping 6.0 assists per contest and making 10 of 19 three-point attempts.

Perfect way to end a perfect undefeated season for the Chiba Jets and their star guard.

    New High Score

Over in the Philippines, there were a few top performers who enjoyed career milestone performances as well in the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup.

Jamie Malonzo set a career-high of 32 points to go with 8 rebounds, 4 blocks, 3 assists, and 2 steals in a win for Barangay Ginerbra.

Robert Bolick seemed to have one-upped the Malonzo, dropping his own career-high of 46 points one day later for NLEX Road Warriors.

Is anyone going to top that next?

X Gonna Give it to You

Others have come close, but in the end, it was Xavier Alexander who recorded the first triple-double of the IBL Tokopedia 2024 season. In a win for the Tangerang Hawks, Alexander put up 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists to achieve the statistical feat.
