    Five Basketball For Good projects selected to receive equipment support

    MIES (Switzerland) - Thanks to its partnership with Molten, the FIBA Foundation was able to select 5 projects to support with basketballs.

    MIES (Switzerland) - Thanks to its partnership with Molten, the FIBA Foundation was able to select 5 projects to support with basketballs.

    The 5 projects were selected through applications sent to the Foundation's new digital platform. All 5 responded to strict criteria and use basketball as a tool to help their local communities. 

    Impact Youth Foundation in Ghana

    Molten balls will be sent to the following projects:

    Impact Youth Foundation in Ghana Basketball For Life in Syria Azeva street basket in Gabon Crece Panictacaj in Guatemala Zan Education and Sport Initiative in Tanzania [/unordered]

    The different sized basketballs will be highly useful for these projects to be able to pursue their activities.

    All applicants are committed to supporting the “Basketball For Good” principles of the FIBA Foundation of using the power of basketball to initiate positive change. They all support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals such as Health and Well-being, Quality Education, and Gender Equality.The beneficiaries are young people from vulnerable communities.

    A detailed description of all five projects will be presented in the upcoming weeks.
