MARSEILLE (France) - We're back! The FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2024 returns with what promises to be an action-packed Marseille Masters

Here is all the important information for the second Masters of 2024.

Where can I watch the Marseille Masters?

The action runs from May 31-June 1, and you can follow it live on the FIBA 3x3 YouTube page.

    Who is competing in Marseille?

Eight of the top 11 teams in the rankings and a total of 14 squads: Ub Huishan NE, Miami, Amsterdam, Riffa, Vienna, Raudondvaris Hoptrans, Liman, Paris, Warsaw Lotto, Podgorica Kodio, Wuxi WenLv, Adazi, St Pauli, Barcelona

    What are the pools?

     The #3x3WTMarseille pools are set!

    Who are the favorites?

Call us disrespectful, but we aren't going to start off the bat with No.1 seed Ub Huishan NE (SRB).

Without talisman Strahinja Stojacic, Ub look just a tiny bit vulnerable, so we're going to deem Miami (USA) the favorite given the Americans are coming off a W at the Utsunomiya Opener

They'll bring back their four superstars from that triumph and you just know Miami will bring the heat to Marseille.

Ok it's time to talk about Ub, who we haven't forgotten are the defending champs and came within an inch of glory in Utsunomiya.

They might not have Strahinja but his legendary brother Stefan Stojacic is a worthy replacement and he might just be able to spark Ub.

Amsterdam (NED) and Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) will enter Marseille with the type of confidence Stephen A. Smith exudes when he delivers a hot take after their stars led the Netherlands and Lithuania respectively to the Paris Olympics.

Riffa (BRN) performed well in Utsunomiya where we saw the deadly duo of Dennis Donkor and Thibaut Vervoort unleashed. Speaking of duos Stefan Kojic and Mihailo Vasic are OGs as Liman (SRB) continue to be a title threat.

Vienna (AUT) and Paris (FRA) know what it takes to win Masters having taken out titles last year, so they just have to be rated among the favorites.

Who are the players to watch?

Jimmer Fredette and Worthy de Jong are dudes competing for the status of best player alive having won major MVPs already in 2024.

They dominate in different ways with Fredette able to shoot two-balls like they are free-throws, while de Jong prefers the aerial route.

Both can rest safely knowing their Olympic dreams are well and truly alive, so expect them to be feeling it in Marseille and causing nightmares for opponents.

No list can be complete without legendary Dejan Majstorovic, who can still make the nets scorching hot.

He'll have plenty of support with Marko Brankovic capable of filling up the box score every time he steps on the half-court, while muscular Nemanja Barac is the reigning MVP in Marseille.

There are plenty of bucket getters with Aurelijus Pukelis and Nico Kaltenbrunner capable of going on heat checks. We just can't ignore Przemyslaw Zamojski, who almost always becomes the Pole who stole the show.

The Next Gen are well represented with German teens Fabian Giessmann and Denzel Agyeman ready to take the World Tour by storm. You just know that they'll end up on the top plays of the tournament.

    ...

Last but not least is fan favorite Franck Seguela, who is ready to compete for the crown in front of his beloved fans.
