Turning point: China took the initiative when they posted a 17-3 run during the second period and were always in the box-seat from that point onwards.
Stats Don’t Lie: China really did find their range from deep and made half of their 22 attempts from downtown.
Game Heroes: Meiqi Zhu and Manman Zhang both had great games, with the former scoring 22 points and adding 10 boards, while the latter contributed 20 points, six rebounds and five asissts.
The Bottom Line: Chinese Taipei already have a win to their name and will be expecting to add at least one more in the last days of the tournament in the Classification Round. They fell short in the paint and couldn't stop China lighting it up from the perimeter. The Chinese are really finding a groove now and that is three wins from their four games with Australia now awaiting them in Friday's Quarter-Finals.
