ABIDJAN (AfroBasket 2015) - Algeria, Central Africa Republic (CAF) and Senegal have been revealed as the recipients of the three wild cards to take part in AfroBasket 2015 after a decision made by FIBA Africa Board.
The three teams complete the 16-team line-up for this summer's tournament that will take place in Nabeul and Tunis, Tunisia from 19-30 August.
They join host Tunisia, the defending champions Angola, Egypt, Cote d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Mozambique, Gabon, Cape Verde, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
An additional draw will take place on Saturday 9 May to determine in which groups the three wild cards will compete.
The main draw took place on Saturday 4 April and resulted in the following groups:
Group A: 1. Tunisia; 2. Uganda; 3. Nigeria; 4. Wild card 1.
Group B: 1. Angola; 2. Mozambique; 3. Wild card 2; 4. Morocco.
Group C: 1. Egypt; 2. Gabon; 3. Mali; 4. Cameroon.
Group D: 1. Cote d'Ivoire; 2. Cape Verde; 3. Wild card 3; 4. Zimbabwe.
