PARIS (France) - Worthy De Jong was named MVPs of the incredible 3x3 competition at the Paris Olympics.

There weren't official awards given, like at FIBA 3x3 events, but we're going to give deserved shout outs to the absolute stars of the seven-day tournament that lit up La Concorde.

De Jong left Paris as arguably the best men's player in 3x3 after hitting a two-point shot for the ages to lift Netherlands past France in an OT classic. 'Hype Worthy' finished second in points (65) and - you guessed it - first in highlights after putting on a show with 5 per game.

It was made even more remarkable with de Jong having battled an ankle injury through the tournament.

De Jong was joined on the Team of the Tournament by Lucas Dussoulier and . Aurelijus Pukelis. Inspired by a passionate home crowd, the Frenchman continually hit big buckets and he finished with 47 points.

He became a crowd favorite as France went on a barnstorming run to finish with silver. Pukelis was a man mountain for bronze medalist Lithuania and he finished third in scoring with 63 points at an average of 7 ppg.
