    BARQUISIMETO (DIRECTV Liga Sudamericana 2017) – Guaros de Lara took a 2-0 lead in the DIRECTV Liga Sudamericana Final after a 88-83 win over Estudiantes Concordia. The Final will now move to Concordia, Argentina, for Game 3.

    Estudiantes had a better start to the game and escaped to a 7-point lead at the end of the first quarter. Guaros fought hard and with 17 points from Diego Garcia on the first quarter, the home team dominated the second quarter by 10 points, to take a 3-point lead into half-time. Guaros won the third quarter and maintained the lead. Estudiantes fought hard, but Guaros went on to win the last ten minutes of the game, to secure the win.

    Diego Garcia led the scoring for Guaros with 23 points.

    The best-of-five Final now moves to Concordia, Argentina, for Game 3 on December 13.
