    BUENOS AIRES (DIRECTV Liga de las Americas 2019) - Brazilian champion, Paulistano, won the DIRECTV Liga de las Americas 2019 Bronze Medal after defeating Capitanes of Mexico City, 100-78.

    Turning Point: After dominating the first half by 50-39, Paulistano went into a slump in the third quarter and Capitanes cut the difference to four points (52-48) in the first three minutes of that stretch. The team coached by Regis Marrelli recovered the rhythm at the right time and created a 17-5 run to take a 69-53 advantage.

    Stats don’t lie: Paulistano took advantage of the rivals 15 turnovers and transformed them into 26 points. Paulistano scored 31 points in fast breaks and the bench scored 50 units.

    Game Hero: Evan Roquemore with 16 points and six assists led the attack of the Paulistas. Power forward Antonio Júnior contributed 16 units.

    The Bottom Line: The team of Paulistano closed a great participation in the Liga de las Americas with a 7-1 mark and a Bronze Medal. The club will now focus on their National League, were they will now face Carense in the Playoffs.
