    Porto avenge Qualifiers loss to move to 3-0, Karhu upset Petrolina AEK

    FC Porto stayed undefeated in Group E and gained revenge on Manisa BBSK as a strong fourth quarter lifted them to an 84-67 win. The Portuguese side created breathing space in the final period, taking it 23-13, which helped them to victory.

    Anthony Barber and Cleveland Melvin hit 25 points each for Porto with the win made more satisfactory given that Manisa had beaten them in the Final of the Qualifiers.

    Meanwhile, one unbeaten record was ended as Karhu Basket scored their first win at the third attempt by downing Petrolina AEK 75-66 in Group C. Horace Spencer pulled down a big double-double of 21 points on 10-for-17 shooting, along with 11 rebounds in the victory.


    Christian Vital was on a scoring mission as he scored 30 points for Legia Warszawa in a 90-79 success over CSM CSU Oradea in Group J. And, 20-year-old Fedor Zugic went for 25 points as he kept BG Gottingen perfect at 3-0 thanks to a 90-71 home win over Keravnos BC in Group I.

    It was also a winning night for the Spanish clubs with Surne Bilbao Basketball convincingly ending Caledonia Gladiators' unbeaten start with a 106-58 victory and Casademont Zaragoza winning 78-72 on the road to BC Kalev/Cramo after recovering from a slow start.
