    Alston lands Top Performer honor from the Qualifiers

    MUNICH (Germany) - Justin Alston leads the first Top Performers lineup of the new FIBA Europe Cup season after impressing with debutants Naturtex-SZTE-Szeged in the Qualifiers.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Justin Alston leads the first Top Performers lineup of the new FIBA Europe Cup season after impressing with debutants Naturtex-SZTE-Szeged in the Qualifiers.

    The American forward netted 22 points and 6 rebounds in both of his side's two encounters, though they came up short in their bid to qualify for the Regular Season for the first time. 

    Alston was joined in the lineup by Lotanna Nwogbo after the Donar Groningen forward averaged 19.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game as they advanced in one of the top 'lucky loser' spots.

    Ryan Woolridge impressed for Iraklis BC with the American guard posting 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists across their two games as the Greek side recorded back-to-back victories to win the qualifying tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria.

    Also in the backcourt is Yannick Franke with the Netherlands international putting up 17.5 points per game for Trefl Sopot as they also advanced as a 'lucky loser' despite falling to Iraklis in the Final.

    Aaron Broussard completes the lineup with the versatile guard/forward finishing the week with 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in two games for Benfica as they prevailed to win the tournament in Groningen.
