MUNICH (Germany) - Ironi Ness Ziona big man Jeff Withey stood out on a dramatic Gameday 1 with his double-double helping lead the Israeli side to a winning start on the road.

The towering American center missed just one of nine attempts on his way to 23 points in the 82-75 win away at Kapfenberg Bulls. Withey also collected 11 rebounds to complete his double-double along with 4 blocks, 2 assists and a steal in a strong display.

Meanwhile, Dardan Berisha set the very early season-high of 32 points to propel Sigal Prishtina to a 93-74 home success over Apoel Nicosia with six three-pointers.

Barry Stewart was even hotter from downtown with 8-of-12 shooting from three-point range to secure his place in the Team of the Week, though his 29 points could not prevent a tough 92-86 overtime loss for BC CSU Sibiu.

Fellow American guard Tayler Persons was also on the wrong end of an overtime thriller having finished with 24 points and 11 assists as ZZ Leiden fell to a 103-99 defeat at SL Benfica.

Michael Finke completes the first lineup of the 2019-20 Regular Season after leading FIBA Europe Cup debutants Legia Warszawa to an 86-55 home success with 26 points and 8 rebounds.
