FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season field finalized
MIES (FIBA Europe Cup) – The FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season field is now complete, following the placement of the three Qualification Round 2 lucky losers into Groups D, F and G at a Draw on Thursday.
MIES (FIBA Europe Cup) - The FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season field is now complete, following the placement of the three Qualification Round 2 lucky losers into Groups D, F and G at a Draw at the House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland on Thursday morning.
Qualification Round 2 concluded on Wednesday night, with the 10 winners of the Qualification Round 2 games automatically advancing to the Regular Season, where they joined teams who had lost in the Basketball Champions League Qualifiers.
There was also good fortune for Balkan Botevgrad (BUL); Bnei Rav-Bariach Herzliya (ISR); and Khimik (UKR) – the three Qualification Round 2 losing teams with the best rankings – who received the final three tickets to the 32-team Regular Season field.
Those three teams were on Thursday drawn into Groups D, F and G, setting the Regular Season field as follows:
