Buceta and Great Britain eyeing up improvements

The Great Britain play-caller, who also holds the reins of the senior team, will be looking for players who can push to the top level in coming years.

"This will be a good opportunity for our young players to develop at the international level," said the Spaniard.
"I want to thank them all for their commitment to GB Basketball and I am sure the experience will benefit both the team and all of the individual participants."
The squad has some talented players, including Gabby Nikitinaite who was crowned the Women's British Basketball League Young Player of the Year for 2016-17.
Buceta, who also coached the team at last summer's edition of the tournament in Podgorica, will be taking his players into a camp in Manchester ahead of facing Belarus, Croatia, Ireland, Israel and Romania in Group B.
