Charalampopoulos led Greece to a title triumph against Israel with a fine all-round game of 10 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks. He led Greece's campaign with tournament averages of 14.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4 assists.
Charalampopoulos was joined in the All-Star Five by teammate Antonios Koniaris, who drained five three-pointers in the Final. A clutch performer, Koniaris averaged 11.4 points and notably hit 54% of his threes including several in important moments.
The other guard position went to Israel's Tamir Blatt, who scored 10 points and 7 assists in the Final. He averaged 16 points and 10.1 assists to be the floor general for Israel, who were unbeaten until the Final.
France's Amine Noua won a spot after starring for the bronze medalists averaging team highs of 12.9 points and 7.9 rebounds. Iceland center Tryggvi Hlinason also got a berth after leading his country to the Quarter-Finals for the first time in history. He averaged 16.1 points, 11.6 rebounds and 3.1 blocks to be finish as the tournament's most efficient player.
