    Dutch center Kuta snatches up MVP award

    SKOPJE (FIBA U18 European Championship 2018, Division B) – Nathan Kuta of Netherlands snatched up the Most Valuable Player honors at the FIBA U18 European Championship 2018, Division B in Skopje after leading his team to the title.

    The 18-year-old center left a mark in the Final despite limited playing time, scoring 8 points, grabbing 5 rebounds in a lopsided 86-57 victory over Slovenia on Sunday evening.

    Kuta averaged 14.6 points, 10.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 block in the tournament to headline the All-Star Five with an average efficiency score of 21.4.

    Despite falling short in the title clash, Gregor Glas of Slovenia also earned a spot among the tournament's best performances, having put up 15.4 points per game in the campaign that yielded silver and promotion.

    Belgium forward Vrenz Bleijenbergh, Henri Drell of Estonia and Belarus big man Dzmitry Ryuny rounded out the All-Star Five after impressing throughout their time in Skopje.
