Greece leader Chatzileonti named MVP in Podgorica

The 16-year-old forward averaged 13.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.4 blocks in the tournament, but did have a quiet night in the Final as Sweden stunned Greece with a 51-41 victory .
Having been on the All-Star Five in last year's event, Chatzileonti upped her output across the board to capture the MVP award this time around. It was her third consecutive FIBA U16 European Championship, Division B campaign.
Her 14-year-old teammate Eleni Bosgana joined her on the All-Star Five in Podgorica after proving her pedigree against older players in Greece's march to the Final.
Matilda Ekh stood out on the title-winning Swedish team, having averaged 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.9 steals per game in Podgorica.
Janette Aarnio of Finland and Belarus guard Iryna Venskaya rounded out the All-Star Five selection.
