Lithuania will be going for their first gold medal at this event since 2008, while Spain are looking to repeat as champions again after winning in 2019.
In the first Semi-Final, Lithuania continued their strong play and defeated Greece 77-61. Nojus Indrusaitis led Lithuania in scoring with 20 points to go along with 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals, while Nedas Raupelis recorded a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.
Greece struggled to put the ball in the hoop from three-point range, connecting on just 19 percent of their shot attempts from beyond the arc. They will play next in the Third-Place Game for a chance to win a bronze medal.
In the second Semi-Final, Spain proved to be too much for France, leading wire-to-wire to clinch a 78-64 win. Jorge Carot (16 points, 8 rebounds) and Mario Saint-Supery (21 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals) imposed their will inside, combining to shoot 14-of-20 from two-point range. Spain went on to score 48 points in the paint.
France were led by Nolan Traore who finished with 20 points and 9 assists on 8-of-15 shooting from the field. They will now face Greece in the Third-Place Game, as they look to finish their tournament on the right foot.
In the 5-8 Classification Games, Israel and Italy emerged as winners after defeating Turkey 90-78 and Slovenia 72-57, respectively.
In the 9-12 Classification Games, Latvia prevailed over hosts North Macedonia in overtime, 83-77, and Montenegro overcame Poland 87-69.
Meanwhile in the 13-16 Classification Games, Serbia and Croatia came out on top, defeating Denmark 87-63 and Netherlands 79-67, respectively. These results mean that the Danes and the Dutch will be relegated to Division B.
