BOURGES (EuroLeague Women 2017) – After making multiple changes last summer, Tango Bourges Basket are in the process of completing another overhaul ahead of the 2017-18 EuroLeague Women season.

While they lifted the French Cup to save their EuroLeague Women status, the season ended in disappointment after being eliminated in the LFB Semi-Finals and they will turn the page with a new head coach in Olivier Lafargue.

The long-serving Basket Landes play-caller takes over from Valerie Garnier and arrives at Le Prado with a new-look team to mold, with some big-name signings.

Bourges have swooped for some serious firepower on the wings with Les Bleues duo Sarah Michel and Valeriane Ayayi putting pen to paper.

With the dynamic Marine Johannes already retained, it looks like the trio can pack a formidable offensive punch.

The backcourt has been given a boost with the veteran and former WNBA guard Kristen [KB] Sharp, who has impressed at Mondeville where she has spent several LFB seasons.

She will compete for minutes with Spanish playmaker Cristina Ouvina who also has a wealth of experience from five straight seasons in EuroLeague Women at Wisla Can-Pack and Nadezhda.

Meanwhile Canadian national team powerhouse Katherine Plouffe bolsters the options under the basket, having had another sensational season at Nantes Reze.
