Turning Point: There were a couple, the first being the middle of the third quarter when a very nice last few minutes dragged Dynamo Kursk back from a worrying deficit to get within a point after scoring 9 of the last 12 points in the period. Meanwhile Anete Steinberga had a good look to ice the deal for Prague near the end of regulation but couldn't get it to drop and Kursk took advantage.
Stats Don't Lie: The extra depth of Dynamo Kursk was vital as their bench scoring was 33-10, while Prague needed to make outside scores to finish the job but were 3-of-13.
Game Heroes: Russian teenager Maria Vadeeva was tremendous with 18 points from 73% floor shooting and she also had 8 rebounds and no turnovers. Angel McCoughtry led the way with a massive 28 points for the winning team. Candice Dupree was unfortunate with an amazing 39 points in defeat, while Laia Palau had an incredible 13 assists.
